Paragons - Executioner
This class is a mix of the Rogue and Priest classes. Mingling the divine with the agility and tricks of a rogue. Often the silent enforcer for a deity or a congregation's will. They will look to mete out justice much the same as a paladin might, yet with very different tactics. They use a combination of stealth and divine magic. They are very deadly holy or unholy opponents. They are the opposite of what a Warden becomes. While Wardens guard and protect in the name of a deity or cause, the Executioner eliminates targets, as decreed by his or her Higher Power. That makes druids, being part of the balance, restricted from this paragon. Wardens protect. Executioners Kill.
They can have one lead, two lieutenants and trainees per Realm
Their choice in weaponry is that of the rogue class they move through to attain this level. They choose weapons that let them use the shadows and speed to their advantage. They are allowed lighter armors which allow them the use of D2 on the meter. Only small arms weaponry is usable. Dirks, daggers, short swords, whips, and garrotes are common. Quarterstaves and hand crossbows are also allowed.
The silent are very good at making Paladins and Clerics of opposing orders into targets. They will use many techniques to render their prey helpless while they execute them.
Executioner Class Combinations are:
-- Rogue/Shaman: Dream Stalker
With this combination the Spiritual nature of the Shaman would show itself in the form of the Executioner asking his ancestors for information. Using them to gain a better insight in where he might hide. Calling on his totem to help deepen the shadows where he may need to move to.
-- Bard/Priest: Harlequin
Uses song to assist with divine conduit. They are often in plain sight yet you would not know their true purpose. They are perfect spies; they can entertain a court of people and leave them spell bound as they conduct their holy missions. Aided with the power of deity, the powerful abilities of the bard are enhanced even more.
-- Rogue/Cleric: Trickster
A trickster style priest. Combining the skills of stealth and trickery with those of their divine powers from their deity. They often mix powers called from their god or goddess along with guile to get that which their organization or tenants wish.
-- Priest/Ranger: Viper
This form of the Executioner uses the forest to aid them. Calling on animals to spy and aid them. Their ability to blend in with the forest and shadows together makes them excellent killers. Following the same rules as the Rangers, they are found punishing those who over use the forests or build cities ruining the landscapes.
-- Cleric/Assassin: Exterminator
The prime choice of this paragon. Mingling the holy and unholy abilities of the player with the deadly strikes of the assassin. Striking unseen from the shadows to execute the mission from their order.
At rank 4.3 They hold the title Enforcer
At rank 4.4 They hold the title The Silent
At rank 4.5 They hold the title Executioner
