Paragons - Beserker
The Berserker is a wild warrior. They typically hail from tribes or clans far away from civilizations. Even when "civilized," they retain their wild nature. They prefer furs, leather, and bone to "modern" attire and often adorn themselves with paints before going into battle. There can be 1 Lead, two lieutenants and trainees per realm.
The Berserker is a paragon class and can only be unlocked after having attained but not achieved Archetype status in any warrior class and any priest class. A certain mindset is of course needed for this class.
Berserkers tend to be very straight-forward and rush headlong into battle, often not thinking of their own (or anyones else's) safety. It would not be an uncommon sight to see a half naked man in nothing but a breech cloth carrying an over sized broadsword charging into combat at the forefront of a barbarian offensive.
They tend to shun armor and shields, and are NOT allowed them in battle.
They are allowed to use MR 1 on the meter for Magic Resistance.
Berserkers prefer the use of heavy 2-handed weapons. Double bladed battle axes, mauls, and claymores are their most commonly used weapons.
Berserker bards are no less common than their fellows, and shout fearsome battle cries as they rain death down upon their opponents. Shamanism is the normal religion for barbarian tribes and are among the classes able to pursue this paragon class along with warrior.
They are one of the few classes to have a stun ability.
Beserker Class Combinations are:
-- Warrior/Shaman: Skald
Combining the abilities of a fighting warrior with the spiritual energies of the Shaman. The Skald becomes a whirlwind force on the battlefield, using the rage of a warrior and channeling from his spirits to throw himself into the battle where the fighting is the thickest.
-- Bard/Shaman: Wyrmtounge
Using the heart of battle songs mingled with a vast array of weapons expertise, this combination allows for a powerful use of song and spirits. The Wyrmtongue is able to call forth songs to assist in battle lust while channeling the energy of their ancestors.
-- Warrior/Bard: Dervish
Very powerful combination of weapons and song, using battle songs and stories to incite fear in enemies or heroic actions to allies. The Dervish brings forth powerful skill in arms while bringing forth emotions from others that few others are capable of doing.
At rank 4.3 They hold the title Barbarian
At rank 4.4 They hold the title War Lord
At rank 4.5 They hold the title Berserker
