Shapeshifter is a kind of generic term for several types of races that have the ability to morph their bodies into another form. All of the races here are considered shapeshifters. However each one is slightly unique in their abilities. Shapeshifting that happens due to a deity, spirit, etc., would be governed by the appropriate guild and rank (Mage/Druid/Shaman).
It takes a lot of energy and effort to shapeshift, and it can be exhausting. Because of this, changing several times a day is highly unlikely, and could even cause death. It would never happen several times simultaneously. Due to the concentration required, it could never happen in the midst of combat.
Do not shift in front of people, as it is awkward and confusing for onlookers.
A shapeshifter cannot "mix" several races into one... for example, wearing the horns of a dragon, with a cat tail, and a satyr's legs. It just cannot happen. They cannot also look exactly like another person. Additionally, because they are mimicking another race and not actually becoming that other race, they cannot assume any associated special racial powers.
