Notes from first 15 minutes prox of 2/24 RoE on Crafted Beings:
Types of crafted beings:
1) golems
2) homunculi
3) clockworks
4) some types of undead
Any time a person takes a soul or puts a soul into something they are performing necromancy. A good necromancer gets permission before doing so, an evil necromancer does not.
Once the body is ready (whether crafted, stitched together, wrapped, etc.) then an alchemical circle is set up. Items used in the alchemical circle will vary depending on what one is doing and could include salt, carbon, saltpeter and water. The number of points used will be a prime number (an uneven number that can only be divided by itself).
Point levels:
3 - for creating a construct with complete free will
13 - for creating a construct that's totally controlled and mindless
Most use something like 5 points, to have some control over their creations
Bodies for crafted beings can be made from a variety of things. Possibilities include: Clay, paper, cloth, liquid, a dead body, a living body
Chances of having the life force transfer in are greatest with liquid and lowest with a living body, but its likelihood of survival are directly opposite. If the life force goes into liquid it chooses its own form with no understanding or knowledge of anatomy so it may live a few seconds. The living being would have the highest likelihood of survival.
The person making the crafted being will need to get the life force to imbue it. There are three sources: the ether (good spirits of the dead), the nether (bad spirits of the dead) and a life force taken from a living being. If the body and the life force being used are not compatible, the life force will move on to its next point in evolution and will be lost to the crafter.
Notes supplied by Laeron Orvir:
Less likely than the other two, because there is, is less choice for the uh, imbued soul. Spirit, lifeforce,
whatever you want to call it.
Now, that brings up, well, you just said, you just mentioned the word choice. I thought you said that,
evil necromancy does not allow choice. Well, that is true. That is true. You are forcing a lifeforce
into this construct, and so it does not require quote a choice. But, the level of error is still there. Because
it is considerably more difficult to force a lifeforce into a new one than it is to get them to go voluntarily.
Obviously, getting someone to voluntarily take a body, requires a level of charisma, that some, some may or may
not possess. There are, there are ways. So, now you have crafted your body. You have decided between the
three general types, you have decided upon your methodology, wheter it is going to be evil or good. Next thing
you need to do is to acquire said lifeforce. Now, that lifeforce can come from the Aether, which are basically
good spirits, quote unquote, that have passed, or the Nether, which is basically evil spirits, that have passed.
And then the third option would be to actually take a living being and they have chosen to take the lifeforce
directly from and you have them nearby. So there are basically three forms. The Aether, the Nether, or a currently
live subject.
The Aether , all three of these require a soul and a degree of magic to accomplish of course. And they are all
transference, you are transferring from one place to another. Soul Transference. for lack of a better word.
And, in the case of the Aether, you are likely to get a good soul. Because that's what the Aethers for, right?
Positive Material Plane that is where the, the positive souls go before they go somewhere else. If they go
somewhere else. Whereas the Negative Material Plane, the Nether, where the dark souls go, before they go somewhere
else, if they go somewhere else. And the third form is an actual existing being, who you may or may not know
anything about. The more you know about them, the more you're going to know what you're transferring into
this new being.
Of the three types the one that will give you the most knowledge, is the latter. Because then you'll know
considerably more about the homonculous you are about to build. But, do remember, that the lifeforce, the soul,
and body have to agree with one another. So you can go through all these things, you can convince the soul, or
the person, in one way, shape or form, wheter or not it be voluntary or involuntary, to enter into the new body.
But, it does not gaurnteee, that the body and the soul will be compatible with one another. If it is not
compatible, the soul and body will be destroyed, ok? The soul may possibly go back to where they were, but more
than than likely, they are going to the next level of wherever they were. They will probably not go back to the
Aether or the Nether, and they definitely won't go back to their original body, they will probably go to the next
level of evolution or devevolution, wherever the next goal, next level has to be.
If they are compatible, however, then you have just created a new life. Obviously at this point, there are a vast
degree of bonding spells that have to be done, which, if you have appropriately prepared the body, will activate,
upon casting these final spells. And results will be a homonculus.
Now, I went relatively in depth into the construction of homonculus. This is the same basic premise and process
that is used for all constructs, that require a soul. *local chat* It probably would not dissapate quick enough, you
could actually, if you are a soul eater, you could, most likely, if you were prepared to catch it, you could still
do so. If you were not prepared, then yes, it would disspate too quickly. If you were ready, you know, then yes
you could probably do so. But, it will not be, you would not be able to use it for anything else. Ok, if the soul
fails, if the bonding fails, there's no way you could catch it, to, it's like alright, I did all these things,
and I happen to have on the backburner I'm making a soulsword. So my homonculus fails, so I'm going to use that
soul and bind it into to this blade, nah, there is no time for that. There is no way to utilize that soul in any form.
A soul eater that happens to be right there, could possibly do it. But, you could not maintain that for any length of
time, and if you do not eat quickly, which, to say it causes heartburn is an understatement. But, chances are you
aren't going to be able to do that, but it is possible. You will likely suffer heartburn. And you are going to need
more than a straw, but yes, you need to be ready. There are ways I can tell you how to do that if you need to.
Okay, so, the general overview of how to build a homonculus is also the same general view for building a Golem,
or a Mummy, *local chat* Metalki is basically, still a Golem. So also them as well. In all of those cases of course,
your and medium is different. What the signifigant difference between them all is the medium you are using. Now,
you may say, well, what about a flesh Golem? A Flesh Golem is sewn together from parts, like one of your homonculus
types, which was just discussed, isn't that the same? Well, no actually it's not. Ok, it isn't. A Flesh Golem
requires White Mana, in order to build, just like a Clay Golem. A Clay Golem also requires White Mana. And that
has a signifigant different outtake, than the others. Necromancy, manipulates Black Mana. Most magics, manipulate
Red Mana. Divine Magic manipulates White Mana. Because it is granted, from another source.
You do not, White Mana, emanates from a Divine being. Wheter it be an Elemental Lord, or a Asgardian Deity, such
as Thor, or an Olympian, even a Titan, ok? They emanate White Mana. And the priest types, can take that and utilize
it in different forms. Mages, do not have access to White Mana, because they do not manipulate Divine Magic.
Mages manipulate Red or Black. Now, you can ask, can I, can clerics, can priests, still manipulate Black? Of course
they can. It is how they can do Necromancy, is by manipulating Black Mana. And, but, in the case of a Flesh Golem
or a Clay Golem, it requires more than that. You manipulate Black, because of the soul, but they also manipulate
White because they are granting, they are granting, this being life. Alright, not the same as bringing something
as creating life. They are granting new life, similar to Resurrection, or Reincarnation. They are granting life
not making life.
A lot of times, the priest types, find homonculi, mummies, golems, to be heresies. Because they aren't granted life.
They are made, they are crafted. And obviously, with the exceptions of the ones the priests make, like Flesh or
Clay. Those are granted so they dont have the same bias against it. This is of course why priests have generally,
not always, priests have the ability to turn or banish. Because, these lifeforms were brought into being were not
actually granted life. So they call upon their deity and say Hey! Take that away. And their deity says, Oh, BAM.
And so those beings are banished, destroyed, turned, whatever it happens to be, depending on the level of priest.
But essentially, all Golem forms are done in the same way. With obviously, many paticiulars that are different,
like a good example, Fetish Magic. Which is one of the types of magic that, Witches do. It is imbuing a thing,
with the essence of another thing. And, they, Fetish magic requires the raw emotion, that witches use. Does not
mean, that Mages cannot do a similar art, called Artificing. But it differs signficgantly. Which is generally when
they are making Golems, they are using dolls, lets say like Plush Golems, Chuckie, good example. Of course, in
the movie form those are actually demons that have been bonded to another body, but, you have the idea there.
Are any of you familiar with EverQuest? Ok. There is a doll Golem in EverQuest in the Dark Elf Area, name is
escaping me right now, but it's basically a burlap doll, with buttons for eyes and yarn for hair. Thats a doll
Golem, and that is not uncommon for witches to use. They also make Wood Golems, Straw Golems, scarecrows,
They craft, yeah*local chat* I made an actual cooler looking on than that, im not sure if I took a picture, and put
it up on my computer, I might have. Ah, yes, excellent, Lulu from Final Fantasy. She uses doll golems, very smart,
good example. Good example. Doll Golems, thats witchcraft, and wood golems, they are effigys that have been imbued
with magic. All the processes i just told you about, homonculi, you follow those as well. Except for the actual ]
making of the body. That is obviously different, the receptacle is different. But the process is the same.
Your Mages, make different types of Golems, than witches do. Mages do, they make Stone Golems, Iron Golems, Crystal
Golems, but the process is essentially the same. Some Golems require both a Mage and Priest. They either require
more than one person, or a Sage, who has both slots. And those Golems, are some of your higher forms. Like paper
Golems, or Obisidian Golems, or Carytdid Coloums. Those types of Golems, require both a Mage and a Priest, both
Divine and Arcane magics. And like I mentioned earlier, Arcane magics are Red, generally, they are Red Mana, *22:30*
and its possible, its highly likely Swithy's puppet is a Golem. I haven't actually sat and talked, had a chat with
her, but 99% chance everything I know about it, it would be a Plush Golem. These are sometimes called Moppets,
or Puppet Golems. *local chat*. It's distinctly possible, see, Bards dabble, in other types, in other Arts. So a Bard
could possibly make a Puppet Golem. Probably the only one they could make, because they only dabble, that is the
lowest, quote unquote, or the eaisest, or the lowest level, the lowest level is a doll golem. And since Bards
do dabble, then it would be possible to do that.
Lets look at mummies for a minute. Mummies basically use the same process as the other things we discussed, wheter
you built a lesser mummy or a greater mummy, depends on your level of magic, how much you can do, how much knowlege
of anatomy you have, all of those are true. But they also require a lot of additional, just like I said earlier,
all these things require different components, depending on what you are building, in the case of mummies, it
requires a vast amount of salt and carbon, and multiple herbs. But in addition to that, it requires that you
inscribe the spell, on every single piece of cloth that you are wrapping that mummy around. Mummies are time
consuming. And it could take, up to six months to make a mummy. Because you are, you have to, spellcraft, every
single wrap that you are tying that mummy up with. In addition to all the components, the dipping, a lot of things
goes into it. Are any of you familiar with paper mache? That is, *local chat* yes, mummies come under some undead.
When you are building a mummy, you are essentially, paper maching, a person. With spells, and salt, and carbon, and
saltpeter and many other spices. And you are, you are, enchanting every single strip you are putting on that mummy.
And if you are familiar with paper mache, then you have an idea of what Im talking about. Because you are actually
wrapping that being in that format. Obviously requires a great deal of preservation, as well, and that's another
difference in between a Greater and a Lesser Mummy. Is your ability to preserve. Commonly, greater mummies are built
by multiple priests, at the same time, so that one can sit there and consistently preserve the body, while the others
are working on it. And, its an around the clock thing, so, depending on levels, how successful you are going to be
and wheter or not you have any dessicated, skeletal thing with wraps all around it, or a perfectly preservered,
being, is the difference between a lesser or greater mummy.
A greater mummy, looks like everyone else around. I could look down here, and Jaluk Latzo over here, Jaluk Cal'deer
he could easily be a greater mummy and nobody would know it. Look over at him, he looks like everyone else, right?
Except he doesn't have a shirt, you know? But that's very mummy like too. The thing about mummies, is that they
generate heat. Mummies generate heat because of the spells we place in them. So the chances are they are going to
be naked, or next to naked, all the time. Because, they actually feel, whereas lesser mummies, they don't feel.
Lesser mummies, they cannot feel. They dont have nerve endings, they werent crafted in such a way as to be, formed
in such a fashion. A greater mummy on the other hand, does. Lesser mummies, i might add, generate cold. Because of
the spells that are used in its design. So they are reverse of one another, after a fashion.
Other undead that are crafted in such a format, there are not a whole lot. Zombies and Skeletons, if you have
anatomical knowledge, you are going to build a better zombie. But essentially, as opposed to Golems and Homonculi
when it comes to skeletons and zombies, you are raising up what is already there. It's animation, you are still
using a lot of the same processes, but you can animate dead without instilling a lifeforce within it.
If you do instill a lifeforce within it, you have created a higher form of undead. That would be the proveribal
difference between a skeleton and a skeleton warrior. Now, they may look the same. But they're not. Because a
skeletion is just an animated puppet, like if you had, you can use 13 points on the circle, 13 candles, usually,
marked by, but anyways, you can use 13 points when making a skeleton because it's fully a puppet.
A Skeleton Warrior on the other hand, is imbued with a lifeforce. For lack of a better word, you could say it has
a soul. A skeleton warrior can be an autonomus being, it can be itself, it can be autonomus. As opposed to a skeleton
but that also means when you are building a skeleton warrior, you need some knowledge of anatomy, whether it be
human anatomy, elven anatomy, whatever it happens to be. Because when you put this thing together, you are planning
on it lasting. Another thing about skeleton warriors, if you break one, its gonna go back together. Because it
is held together in a different fashion. It has a lifeforce that holds it together. Regular skeletons gonna crumble
bam, sometimes, you might have dusted them. A skeleton warrior, their pieces are going to slowly come back together
bit by bit.
*33:56* And this is the signifigant difference between a skeleton warrior, skeleton mage, skeleton thief, whatever
it happens to be. I use skeleton warrior because that is the general term for all soul bearing skeletons. Even if
that's not their class. The same thing can be said for zombies. Zombies are just animated corpses, generally so,
so you can do the 13 points when you make them. Our resident Lich in the room, is all too familiar with zombies
and skeletons, because they are just puppets, ok? On the other hand, you can have a Zombie warrior, just like you
can have a Skeleton Warrior. It does require that when you put them together, you put them together right. Because,
that's how they are gonna be. You use a lot of the same Arts, that I described using the homonculus.
So, we have touched on homonculus, golems, and undead. And those are signifigant constructs. We do have two more,
that are signifigant, and everything else is basically a subdivision of one of the other. Metalki, are essentially
a subdivison of Warforged, I mean of Golems, and are called Warforged in some of the new dungeons and dragons rules.
But they are Metalki. But, the signifigant difference, is the building format. Because, in the building of a Metalki,
you are building the orb. The body is secondary. You are building the orb, which is a process in itself.
But essentially, its the same as all of the above. And you cannot build, because of the intense magics that are going
into a Metalki, you have to build it with three points. You cannot build it with a higher number. So you are probably
asking now, Ok, well you just said, that three points meant they were indvidiuals and that you don't have control of
them and that is correct. When they build Mets, when they build Metalki, that is the way its done. They do not have
direct control over them. That is why they go through rigorous years of mindwashing, brainwashing and training so
that they are what they are designed to be. They were not built the way they are because they were built, they
are not only built they way they are, they are Warforged. But, they were also brainwashed. The body itself is
constructed in a vast different way. But the soul, is done the same way that we just discussed. In fact, since we
are bringing this up, since I am bringing this up, I want to show you if I can find it, (looks for textures)
Ah, this is the one I wanted most anyway, so I'll put this one up.(discussion about pulling up textures) I'm
going to show you, two pictures, of Metalki. Just to give some ideas, on what I'm talking about here. What people
don't really realize, is yes, they're metal people, correct. But they are more than that. I had someone ask me one
time about making a Warforged. And I told them, you know what, a Warforged is a Metalki. So, of course you can do
that. I completely encourage such a thing. But they didn't quite get it, because the listed ways of crafting a
Warforged are not the same as all the discussions I've had about how to craft a Metalki. But that is incidental,
really. Because they are Golems. Now right here, you are looking at signifigantly different types of Metalki.
The one on the right is what is called an Alpha Model. That is basically what when you are out fighting Metalki,
you are looking at the guy on the right. Because that is the original Spider-Squid Wars model.
Does not mean that they all look that way. That just means that is the original format, or design. Now you look at
those and you see the metal man quote unquote, and I want to show you something else that is signifigantly different
because this is the next thing I want to discuss. Because in addition, to Metalki, which are a special design, we
also have clockworks.
Now, clockworks are not the same as Metalki. Clockworks are Gnomish and Dwarven constructions, and they are basically
giant deadly toys. They are not alive. But they do have a directive, they are constructed. To do whatever it is they
were set to do when they were built. On some levels you can see that there is a visual similarity between clockworks
and Metalki. Or what's commonly called Warforged now, but I'm staying with the term Metalki, because that's what the
original term was, i'm keeping it. But I do applaud the new edition of Dungeons and Dragons for making Metalki a race
people can be. I set that up many moons ago, and now they have decided to do it, and so I applaud that.
*4901* Yes, Metalki have a soul, and there are a vast array of clockworks out there, and Metalki, in other games.
*Local chat questions* And yes, that is pretty good example, the exercise robot in Ulduar? As far as World
of Warcraft goes? He is Metalki. That is correct, because he's not just a robot. Clockworks are mechanical,
they are mechanical constructs, like a clock, ok? So somebody said they've played EverQuest, so who was that
agian? Anyway, anyone who has played EverQuest, or if you want to pull it up on your computer in any format,
the gnomes in EverQuest have entire cities that are populated entirely by clockworks. And they have clockwork
gnomes. There is a signifigant difference between him. Now lets go back to the difference between clockwork and
Metalki in World of Warcraft. Now in World of Warcraft, if you go into the gnome areas, you see little rabbits
jumping around. or squirrels, or chickens and dogs and stuff. Those are Metalki, as opposed to many of the
Guards stopping you from going from point A to B. They don't have any other function.
They don't have a sense of self. They don't do anything except what they are told. A clockwork is a puppet. Similar
to, as we were talking about, the difference between a Skeleton, and a Skeleton Warrior. A Skeleton is a puppet.
*local chat* Yes, exactly. Exactly, correct. The Skeleton is a puppet, the skeleton warrior is
a sentient being, it has it's own goals and generally its own sense of self. Metalki are the same way. They are built
with a 3 circle instead of a 13, unlike their counterpart, and they have to have their minds programmed, not
like you do a computer. They have to have their minds programmed, as in the way you were born, and raised to be
a certain way.
Metalki, are conditioned. Metalki are born, and they are raised together, in a commune setting, that is all about
killing. All about killing everyone, all about hate. That everyone must eliminated. They are conditioned to be a
killing machine. They are not mindless beings like clockworks, they are conditioned, to be killers. On some levels
that's far far worse. Because a clockwork, it's not free thinking.*local chat .* A little bit
like the Borg, no they don't have a hive mind, they have individual minds. But they would wipe the Borg out
because they are magic. And you can have a wizard Metalki, it is possible. You haven't really run across any
but it is possible, because they have a sense of a self. You will not run across an Alpha model, from the
Spider-Squid wars, that is a Mage. Because that is not the way they were trained. They are stormtroopes, they were
trained to kill everything, hands on kill.
But a Metalki that is not from the Spider-Squid wars could be distinctly a mage, it is not out of the question,
because they have magic. I don't really see one being a priest, but you know, hey. *local chat *
Yes, Cecil and Cecilah, they are examples. They are not from the original spider squid wars. They have been
subsequently created. Yes, they can be reasoned with. But do remember, in the case of brainwashed individuals, it
is very difficult to break that conditioning. How many of you have ever seen a intervention where to break the
conditioning on a brainwashed individual? How many of you have ever seen that happen? *local chat* Tv? It's at
least something. So, at least on TV you have seen it happen. It gives you an idea about how difficult it is
to break conditioning.
Conditioning is very difficult to break. You know how hard it is to break a lifelong habit? Like smoking, or
drinking Coca-Cola, or locking the door everytime you walk through the room. How difficult it is to break a life
long habit? Well, imagine every aspect of your life is a lifelong habit. Every single piece of it has been conditioned
as this is the way it's supposed to be. You get up at this time, you eat at this time, you walk out at this time,
*local chat* Enemy mine is pretty good. That is a good example. That's a pretty good example. There are a few out there.
Anyone that you build, would not be brainwashed. Brainwashed is only the ones you fight on the battlefield.*local chat*
I have never played that game, but, you are probably right. Im not familiar with Warhammer at all, I know it's basic
premise, because it's basic premise was derived from D&D. Beyond that, I don't know anything about it. But, it
sounds correct.
Yes, the brainwashing is only for the ones you encounter. If you build one, they arent brainwashed, they are clean
slates. But to capture one and break it's conditioning, would not be easy. Understatment of the year. Because with
the Alpha models, that we are talking about, we arent talking three months of conditioning. We are not talking
a year of conditioning, we arent talking ten years of conditioning. We're talking centuries of conditioning.
For 200,000 years, the only thing they know is to kill. That's some hardcore conditioning. The only thing they know
is to kill. They know nothing else. They don't eat, they don't sleep, they just kill. And for a long time, they
just trained. But now they are released into the world, they have thousands of year of conditioning and training in
their brain, for lack of a better word. So just imagine how difficult that conditioning will be to break.
Not an easy task. Not an easy take. Possible, hey? But not so very easy. Now, that covers all the basic bases,
for all the construct types. You have your homonculus, you have your Golem, you have your clockwork, and you have
your undead. So, im opening up for questions.
*local chat* (Also, local chat throughout this section below)
Any questions. Ask. That is one of the reasons I do this, so that you can ask questions. There are variety of
ways a non mage could overcome any of those. Obviously, the clockworks and mets are a little bit tougher. But,
number one, any being that has nerve endings can be hurt or damaged. You can take them out. And if they can't hurt
you have to be a little bit more agressive. Yes, some of them will come back together. Does any of you of know how
to secure something that will regenerate? Do you know how to stop them? Yeah, acid is a good choice. Concrete, also
awesome. Yes, they will always be.. in the immortal words, No Disentegrations. Yes, it's always good to use multiple
casters. If you can weave the Red the Black and the White together, whatever you are building is going to be stronger.
Some are required to do that. Thats why the Clay golem is white. Obsidian or Paper Golems, they require you to weave
them together. Any of you ever heard of paper golems? Very nice, very nice.
I would suggest, a paper golem, as it sounds is made of paper. But unlike it may sound, a paper golem is not this
weak little flimsy thing. paper golem is extemely vicious, if it's built to be mean. Lets put it another way, a
paper golem is extremely powerful. Is it vulnerable to fire, absolutely not. Paper golems are fireproof. They
may look like you could set them on flame, but they are fireproof. And thats one of the things that makes them
so powerful. They are like a scarecrow, you think you set them on fire, boom its all good. Scarecrows throw fire.
That is their weapon. You think they are going to be vulnerable to it, no. Paper golems are the same way, they
throw fire. They are not vulnerable to fire. But yes, again, it requires you to weave all three types of magic
to make one. They are typically only used by Fey, paper golems are a Fey construct, and they are commonly used to
guard Fey nobility areas.
Halloween Jack is a scarecrow golem. Yes, here, I have to show you this. Here, is a paper golem. One of the many
paper golems are always colorful, and are usually butterflies *Malikith crashed*
Vendul Jal, apparently the world had different plans for me. (getting texture of paper golem)
Here's a paper golem. Now typically, as I said, they are typically butterflies. Just because they are cute, does not
make them less deadly. Yes, this paper golem is a dragon. The are obviously not all dragons, you can make paper into
pretty much anything. He's a pretty tough looking dragon, a pretty tough looking paper golem. There is a good example.
Yes, every scale on that is paper. That was built by Jalil Ninetales, she built that paper golem herself. So shes
already begun!
Ok lets see here. Any other questions? Any questions any people have, go ahead and ask. Actually, it is. Remember
what I said from a little bit ago? That when you take a soul from it's body you have three choices? One of them
is the Aether, one of them is the Nether, and the other is somewhere else, wheter it be a person, or a sword, or a
ball, because it is possible to seal a soul into a ball. That is the third way you can move a soul from one place
to another. The sword on my back has a soul, it is sentient. Now, I could took its soul out and put it into a being,
but I wouldnt. But it is a possible. But again, the same concept goes with taking someones soul and putting it
somewhere else, as it does with the Nether and the Aether. If you do not ask permission, its an evil act. If you
have consent, it is not an evil act.
They have full range of emotion. Every single emotion a human can have, Mets can have. And those two are not
brainwashed. So they are going to have all the emotions anyone else does. Rememeber, their lifespans, they
grow up fast, so they are going to be more emotional than other people. Imagine going through your terrible twos,
and puberty at the same time. They are super strong, and made of metal. So, there are going to be some massive
tanturms in that case. Metal fist tantrums. Metal parts puberty. There is potential for roleplay with those individuals.
They have all the messy emotions of humans, and since sedatives dont work on them, you'll have to come up with
something else.
Any other questions? The witches class starts in about fifteen minutes, I promote people to go to that class, she
will undoubtedly speak of some of the things I have talked about in at a guild level, which means more specific,
fetish magic, doll golems, those are the things off the top of my head that she could touch. So, knowledge is power.
And that would be Jalil Astryyd, who happens to be in the room! So, she can drop you a Slurl, or tp you over there directly.
Any other questions about what we have discussed today? And did I answer your question, Jalil morningstar?
No questions? How are Golems vulnerable? Good question. All Golems are vulnerable in different ways, so I cant give
you a blanket answer for every single one. They have different vulnerablites. Flesh Golems, for example, is
vulnerable to fire, whereas a paper golem is not. Acids are pretty universal. Those with nerve endings can hurt,
those without cannot. Many of them do regenerate, so, fire acid and cold will help stop that. Of course a paper
golem cannot burn, and when you cut them they do not bleed. Paper golems are not vulnerable to water, they are designed, are like
wax paper, but that is a very very good idea. Water and Fire are the two most obvious choice to fight against a paper golem
but neither of them work. Yes, they are vulnerable to scissors, you can cut them, but they also cut back.
Yes, paper cuts are not awesome. Do be prepared to start teleporting people over there, Jalil Astrydd because it
is important. Yes, the paper cuts do go through armor, because they are not awesome, and painful. *Malikith breaks
up here*

[11:16] Laeron Orvir (basilard): Like X-23 The Deconstructor, from World of Warcraft, or the Numidium from the Elder Scrolls series as far as clockworks go? And Metalki have a "soul" of sorts?
[11:17] Laeron Orvir (basilard): nods
[11:18] Dishan Cal'Der (teer.latzo): me, many moons ago
[11:20] Koar (littlekoarkoar): clockworks are not sentient beings
[11:20] Laeron Orvir (basilard): "programming vs some sort of "free will".
[11:21] Koar (littlekoarkoar): conditioning
[11:23] Ondine Ninetails: Cecil and Ceciliah that Faulkes created...

[11:26] Koar (littlekoarkoar): the brainwashing is for the those models that we encounter in combat and such, though, right? If we were to create one of our, they wouldn't necessarily be brainwashed?
[11:26] Laeron Orvir (basilard): It's a bit out of the realm of medieval fantasy, but the conditioning/killing mindset is very similar to the Space Marine Program in the Warhammer 40k Universe.
[11:30] Dishan Cal'Der (teer.latzo): well, I learned a lot from this
[11:30] Laeron Orvir (basilard): Well, I have a couple, but didnt want to hog the time.
[11:31] Trinity Heir: I am still pondering how a non-mage would overcome any of these, lol.
[11:31] Dishan Cal'Der (teer.latzo): run, trinity
[11:31] Keira Alzael: So much information to process I can't think of a question lol

[11:32] Trinity Heir: LUGS... lol.
[11:32] Koar (littlekoarkoar): concrete
[11:32] Laeron Orvir (basilard): When creating a construct of whatever type, would it be best to employ both a white mana user, as well as a red/black mana user? And would they be stronger in the doing so? Say, a Mage and Priest working in concert?
[11:32] Laeron Orvir (basilard): Disintegration.
[11:33] Koar (littlekoarkoar): yes
[11:33] Emerald Morningstar (vvitchy): yes
[11:33] Astry (astrydd): nods

[11:41] Malakyte Thorne: heheh
[11:41] Ondine Ninetails: where i keepthe chocolate
[11:41] Laeron Orvir (basilard): I do have one more question, then I shall yield, .. Is it possible, in the case of say, a skeleton warrior that already has a "soul" to remove it, and replace it with another sentient being's soul? Say, oh for example, ondine ripped my soul out and stuffed in in a skeleton?
[11:41] Emerald Morningstar (vvitchy):
[11:41] Keira Alzael: not at this time
[11:43] Emerald Morningstar (vvitchy): I would like to know more about emotions for metalikki like Cecil and Cecilleah.
[11:44] Trinity Heir: And being bloody strong, too.
[11:45] Trinity Heir imagines the tantrums, and winces.
[11:45] Ondine Ninetails: cannot keep track of them

[11:48] Trinity Heir: How are golems vulnerable?
[11:48] Keira Alzael: Thank you for the class today Lord Malikith.
[11:48] Trinity Heir nods, listening.
[11:49] Squish: would a paper golum be venerable to water? make them all soggy
[11:49] Trinity Heir takes lots of mental notes.
[11:50] Dishan Cal'Der (teer.latzo): they are vulnerable to scizzors tho, right?
[11:50] Squish: smiles at his good idea and praise
[11:50] Trinity Heir: and then all the little pieces attack you.
[11:50] Dishan Cal'Der (teer.latzo): yey, and true

[11:50] Malakyte Thorne: heheh

*Malikith breaks
up here*

[11:20] Koar (littlekoarkoar): clockworks are not sentient beings

[11:21] Koar (littlekoarkoar): conditioning
[11:23] Ondine Ninetails: Cecil and Ceciliah that Faulkes created...
[11:24] Fahr'n'Heid (fahrenheid): If metallicai are sentient, can they be reasoned with?

[11:25] Fahr'n'Heid (fahrenheid): "Enemy mine" is about breaking such a habbit
[11:31] Ondine Ninetails: hsahah
[11:31] Trinity Heir: Not always a workable solution, oh great mummy Dishan.
[11:31] Trinity Heir: And some of 'em will come back together.
[11:31] Koar (littlekoarkoar): punch them in the face
[11:31] Squish: if it bleeds you can kill it
[11:32] Keira Alzael: LOL Koar
[11:32] Emerald Morningstar (vvitchy): hehhee
[11:32] Trinity Heir hugs a great big bottle of acid.
[11:32] Trinity Heir: LUGS... lol.
[11:32] Koar (littlekoarkoar): concrete
[11:32] Laeron Orvir (basilard): When creating a construct of whatever type, would it be best to employ both a white mana user, as well as a red/black mana user? And would they be stronger in the doing so? Say, a Mage and Priest working in concert?
[11:32] Laeron Orvir (basilard): Disintegration.
[11:33] Koar (littlekoarkoar): yes
[11:33] Emerald Morningstar (vvitchy): yes
[11:33] Astry (astrydd): nods
